Title Michio Kaku: The Universe in a Nutshell
Description The Universe in a Nutshell: The Physics of Everything
Michio Kaku, Henry Semat Professor of Theoretical Physics at CUNY

What if we could find one single equation that explains every force in the universe? Dr. Michio Kaku explores how physicists may shrink the science of the Big Bang into an equation as small as Einsteins e=mc^2. Thanks to advances in string theory, physics may allow us to escape the heat death of the universe, explore the multiverse, and unlock the secrets of existence. While firing up our imaginations about the future, Kaku also presents a succinct history of physics and makes a compelling case for why physics is the key to pretty much everything.

Specifically to that degree, it can not be altered in such a manner. You are delusional. Can you demonstrate your absurd postulations? How can you even confirm that time is a dimension or an event as you claim?

You're allowed to have your opinion, just as people who believe the world is flat or that evolution is a myth are allowed to have theirs. But that doesn't mean you aren't an idiot.

SamosIMP

a 42 minute nutshell.

Oy you're just not listening there is observable evidence behind what I'm saying, it has been published. Also regarding your comment about the Bible first this is neither the time nor the place, second it is irrelevant to this conversation, and third your comment is making you sound more and more to me like another person I argued with (Who also had no basis for his "Physics" and was constantly giving me this clap about having data and then not showing any published papers)

If we want to realy know universe? Lest look deep inside the human boddy ... RR Medina ;)

A measurement of what? Thank you very much...

CDRboundless

Also the character limit wouldn't allow this part. Any papers published by a respectable ,and respected among his peers, source in the field.

FalloutGod

Uh... yeah, data and results are kinda important in science. You know... it's only like the crux of all research and progress. So yeah, if you make wild claims than the onus of proof is on you. You claim it's documented and blah blah blah but you can't reference a source and just spout incomprehensible gibberish about dimensions. Time can not be altered. You may only alter the instruments ability to measure it and your own perception of it.

CDRboundless

I can cite a source you simply never asked. How about reading something published by a respectable source? I can cite more if you want. This is however an acceptable article. physicsworld. com/cws/article/news/2010/feb/17/gravitys-effect-on-time-confirmed

By the way I had to insert a space between the "." and the "com" in that link for youtube to post my reply.

Objects yearn to be united with earth? Objects slow down because they are tired? And here I was thinking Aristotles was a smart guy...

FalloutGod

Wow, quantum mechanics eh? A bunch of math geeks calculating absurdity that isn't relevant or practical. You give me that as a source? Seriously? Okay, let me put this way. In the non-imagined reality. Okay? You follow me? In the real world! Time is a measurement of change, duration and intervals there of. I'm sure you could demonstrate mathematically that it's plausible and your idea works but unless you can actually demonstrate this... well, I'm sorry, but it just isn't good enough for me.

CDRboundless

Ok I'm not speaking with you about this subject anymore.

Stupid comments complaining about a 42minute nutshell. Well consider Dr Kaku has to summarise 2000 years of human civilization's discoveries. So yes it is long. Dont like it? Go and watch a rap video you knuckle dragging baffoon

SamosIMP

ah shut up idiot.

FalloutGod

Well, to be more serious there are some important bits of research conducted in the the field of quantum mechanics. However, my experience is that much of it is incomprehensible gibberish. This can be observed in the Bohr-Einstein debates, which you should note that Einstein, like myself, disliked the lack of determinism in measurement. You can't just willy-nilly make it up as you go and call it science but there are cases like that all the time in quantum mechanics.

SamosIMP

Also maybe you should study English before trying to understand this video.. wtf is a baffon? lol dumbass.

Newton overturned "thousands of years of mystery and speculation?" That is quite a misleading statement. Hipparchus compiled over 300 years of data of the movements of the stars and planets while Ptolemy composed geometric proofs explaining both uniform and anomalistic movements of the sun and planets. Mystery and speculation? Sure, there was a bit of that, but is theory entirely divorced from speculation? Quite the contrary.
